૧	રે ! ભજો રાજન મહાન મહિમાવાન,
	પાડ માની સહુ જન, ગાવ પ્રીતિ બળવાન;
	તે છે, આપણી ઢાલ ખાસ, રક્ષક સનાતન,
	તેનો તેજસ્વી વાસ, ગવાય નિત કીર્તન.
૨	રે ! કહો તેની શક્તિ, ગાવ કૃપાનાં ગીત,
	તે છત્રપતિ, ઘરે પ્રકાશ નિત;
	ક્રોધરૂપ તેના રથ ને ગર્જના વાદળમાંય,
	પાધરો તેનો પથ આંધીના અંધારમાંય.
૩	ખૂબી છે અકળ અવનિ પર અપાર,
	દર્શાવે તુજ બળ સર્જેલ આ સંસાર;
	છે તુજ ફરમાન જેમ છે દઢ તે સ્થપાયેલ,
	પરિવેષ્ટિત તેમ છે સાગર વીંટળાયેલ.
૪	તુજ સંભાળ ઉદાર કો'થી ન થાય બ્યાન,
	દે છે, મઝેદાર હવા, ઉજાસ, દાન;
	પર્વતનાં ઝરણ કરે સપાટ, રસાળ,
	ભરે તે ભરણ દઈ ઓસ ને મેહ નિર્મળ.
૫	ભૌતિક જાણે ભાસ પામર પાપી જાત,
	તુજ પર છે વિશ્વાસ, નિભાવ આપી હાથ
	કોમળ દયા મોત લગ ટકે તુજ દ્વારા,
	સર્જક, રક્ષક, તારક, ને દોસ્ત અમારા.

	So is it encircled, the sea wrapped around.
4	Who can describe Your generous care,
