	સત્તાવીસી છપ્પા,
	શરણાગત

૧	ઈસુ ત્રાતા, તારક મોટા, ઈશ્વરના અવતાર,
	તારે રક્તે તેં કીધો છે, માનવનો ઉદ્ધાર;
	તેં જીવાર્પણ કરતાં કીધો પાપ તણો પરિહાર,
	અમૂલ્ય દાન કરી તું ઠર્યો ખંડણીનો ભરનાર;
	કે અમ ચોખ્ખી ચાલે જઈએ જાણીને ઉપકાર,
	ને દિન સંધા સીધાં રહિયે પામીને આધાર.
૨	એવા તારકને મહિમાએ કરિયે સર્વ કામ,
	સંધાં તારેલાંને સંગે સ્તવિયે તેનું નામ.
	અમ કાજે તો તેણે દીધું કેવું મોટું દામ,
	એ સંભારી સેવા કરિયે કીર્તનથી સહુ ઠામ.
	જ્યાં લગ રહિયે ભૂતળ વાસે નહિ તજિયે મન હામ,
	ઈસુ ત્રાતાના કર્યાથી ચઢિયે સ્વરને ઘામ.
૩	સૌ લોકોનો નાારક વેરી ઈચ્છે માનવ ઘાત,
	પણ તેના તો ક્રૂરપણાથી તારે ઈસુ નાથ.
	ખ્રિસ્ત કદી તો દૂર કરે નહિ તારક નો શુભ હાથ.
	પાસે રહીને પોતે પાળે સેવકને દિન રાત.
	જગરૂપી વન થઈને જાતાં તે રહેશે અમ સાથ,
	પાર થતાં લગ પોષણ કરતાં સર્વ સધાવે વાત.
૪	હે ઈસુ, તુજ પાસે રહે છે બેધારી તરવાર,
	તેનાથી તો તું કરવાનો દ્વેષકનો સંહાર;
	માટે તારા સંત ન બીશે મારથી કોઈ પ્રકાર,
	તેઓ તારી સોડે રહેતાં નહિ ખસશે કોવાર.
	ઈસુ, હમણાં જોર જણાવી આજ અમોને તાર,
	બેડી તોડી, ઉર હર્ખાવી, ધજા ધરાવ સહુ ઠાર.

	Ten jeevaarpan kartaan keedho paap tano parihaar,
	Amoolya daan kari tun tharyo khandnino bharnaar;
	Ke am chokkhi chaale jaiye jaanine upkaar,
	Ne din sandha seedhaa rahiye paameene aadhaar.
2	Evaa taarkne mahimaaye kariye sarv kaam,
	Sandhaa taarelaanne sange staviye tenu naam.
	Am kaaje to tene deedhun kevun motun daam,
	E sambhaari seva kariye keertanathi sahu thaam.
	Jyaan lag rahiye bhutal vaase nahi tajiye man haam,
	Isu traataana karyaathi chadhiye svarne dhaam.
3	Sau lokono naarak veri ichchhe maanav ghaat,
	Pan tenaa to krurapanaathi taare Isu naath.
	Khrist kadi to dur kare nahi taarakno shubh haath,
	Paase raheene pote paale sevakne din raat.
	Jagaroopi van thayine jaataa te raheshe am saath,
	Paar thataa lag poshan kartaan sarv sadhaave vaat.
4	He Isu, tuj paase rahe chhe bedhaari tarvaar,
	Tenaathi to tun karvaano dveshakno sanhaar;
	Maate taara sant na beeshe maarathi koi prakaar,
	Teo taari sode rahetaa nahi khasashe kovaar.
	Isu, hamnaa jor janaavi aaj amone taar,
	Bedi todi, oor harkhaavi, dhaja dharaav sahu thaar.

૧	Jesus the Savior, the great Deliverer, the incarnation of God,
	By Your blood You have accomplished the redemption of mankind;
	By offering Your life You made atonement for sin,
	By giving a priceless gift You became the payer of the ransom;
	So that we may walk in purity, knowing Your kindness,
	And remain upright every day and evening, having received support.
૨	Let us do all things to the glory of such a Savior,
	Together with all the redeemed let us praise His name.
	For our sake He gave such a great price,
	Remembering that, let us serve in every place with song of praise.
	As long as we dwell on earth, let us not abandon the courage of our hearts,
	By what Jesus the Savior has done, let us ascend to heaven's abode.
૩	The enemy, destroyer of all people, desires the death of mankind,
	But from his cruelty, O Lord Jesus, You save.
	Christ never removes the blessed hand of the Savior.
	Staying near, He Himself guards His servant day and night.
	As we pass through the forest-like world, He will remain with us,
	Until we cross over, while nourishing us, He will make all things prosper.
૪	O Jesus, with You there is a two-edged sword,
	By it You will destroy the hater;
	Therefore Your saints will not fear any kind of blow,
	Dwelling in Your shelter, they will never be moved.
	Jesus, show Your power now and save us today,
	Breaking the chains, gladdening the heart, make us bear the banner everywhere.
